Post-Workout Recovery & Muscle Gain

To Dr Stohs,

Good Morning. Hope things are going well for you.
I have been an Advisor a little over a year. I have been lifting for over
35 years. I competed in bodybuilding and power-lifting for over 11 years. I am now 49 years old and still working hard. I'm also a personal trainer.

I have a question for you. I have instructed the guys I train to take Post-Workout Recovery and one scoop of Muscle Gain immediately after workouts. We are very pleased with the results. Is this better than taking Post Workout Recovery by itself? I feel that the extra protein is beneficial and needed. What do you say?

 Have a blessed day.

Darrell

Dear Darrell:

Your question regarding the addition of Muscle Gain to Post-Workout Recovery Drink is certainly a good one. Yes, the extra protein is beneficial, and for those individuals who are interested in more muscle definition and muscle building, the addition of a scoop of Muscle Gain to Post-Workout Recovery immediately following workouts is appropriate. Muscle repair from strenuous exercise occurs while resting, and not during the strenuous activity. Providing amino acids in the form of protein immediately after a rigorous workout is in fact the best way to enhance muscle development.

Best wishes.

Sincerely yours,

Sidney J. Stohs, Ph.D.
